The Probability of You
6.30pm Monday - One Night Only
“Your birth is about as likely as flipping a coin and having it land on heads 37 times in a row”.
Lesson plan:
- Introduce students to the world of Biostatistics.
- Show them just how special their life is.
- Convince them to give up on their dreams.
The Probability of You is a darkly comedic look into the incredible unlikeliness of human existence, and the incredible unfairness of human existence. Over the course of a Biostatistics lecture, Professor John Pwason* will teach you everything you need to know about just how rigged against you the odds are. Just as long as nobody interrupts.
How can you expect to achieve your dreams when the probabilities are so slim?
Too Many Names’ debut production is a mashup of (sometimes incorrect) maths and (very incorrect) theatre that will be sure to leave you ‘hopeful’ and ‘reassured’. ‘Everything’ is going to be fine!
*(Disclaimer: Not really a professor. Everything he says is true, though.)
Please note this production contains strong language, mentions of abuse, and quite a lot of numbers.
About Too Many Names:
Too Many Names is a company of acting students that love to create and perform theatre. And not just because we like the attention, but because we want to make art that connects with people in these absurd times.
All tickets include a £1 admin charge
Approx running time 45 minutes
