***ADDITIONAL SHOWING ADDED AT 5PM DUE TO HIGH DEMAND***
Coming to Bristol after a successful run in London and Rome, Teatro Multilingue presents Mrs Green.
Half play half documentary, Mrs Green is a unique multilingual journey into the political, economic, social and human implications of Brexit. The show aims at exploring this crucial event in recent European history from as objective and neutral a perspective as humanly possible.
In three languages intertwined (English, Français, Italiano) but you don’t need to know or speak all of them to follow the story and understand!
The story: London. Mrs Green finds a green suitcase in the flat she used to rent to Isabella, an Italian girl at the LAMDA drama school. She gets in touch with her. But is the suitcase Isabella’s or Jacques’, the young French intern Isabella used to date?
The show premiered in the UK in October 2021 at Clapham Fringe and Watford Fringe. It played in Rome, Italy, in December 2021 and it’s now back in the UK.

The Alma Theatre has been serving the community for 25 years and has never been the recipient of ACE or other funding. Our theatre manager started maternity leave as the pandemic hit and as a result we missed all opportunities for additional arts council support. We have been offering reduced rates, preferential box office splits and extended promo support to aid the recovery from the past year and a half. Your help will enable us to continue bringing fantastic stories to your local theatre. 50% of your donation will go to the Alma Theatre, and 50% to our inhouse company, Schoolhouse Productions.
