First created as a solo concert showcasing Stephanie Watt's abilities in roles she was told she wasn’t suited for, I Dreamed a Dream Role returns, but transformed into an evening of cabaret! Featuring a collection of talented performers whose dream roles have ever eluded them, this will be an event filled with show-stopping musical numbers and cabaret hits!

With a compilation of songs from hit musicals from the West End and Broadway you are guaranteed a night of high calibre entertainment.

Stephanie was born in Bristol and attended the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, where she studied Musical Theatre. She has been a professional performer since 2012, having performed in many touring productions and cutting her teeth at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Alma Theatre has been serving the community for 25 years and has never been the recipient of ACE or other funding. Our theatre manager started maternity leave as the pandemic hit and as a result we missed all opportunities for additional arts council support. We have been offering reduced rates, preferential box office splits and extended promo support to aid the recovery from the past year and a half. Your help will enable us to continue bringing fantastic stories to your local theatre. 50% of your donation will go to the Alma Theatre, and 50% to our inhouse company, Schoolhouse Productions.
