He Wears It Well by India Rodgers
6pm Sunday and 7pm Monday
A queer couple, Archie and Stephen, explore how heteronormativity influences the dynamic in their new relationship
Archie is the star of a new football video game that Stephen has worked on. They both work in traditionally male environments, Archie is an internationally renowned football player and Stephen works for a top video game developer. They both feel boxed into a stereotype and crave genuine human connection.
They embark on a journey of self discovery, trialling gender role dynamics through character, costume and role play, to dissect which parts of them are true and which are performative. Both must decide whether they choose to live their lives in their truth, or hide behind the heteronormative assumptions of others.
