Alter Festival is a 3 day festival in Hampshire, near Salisbury, hosting a lineup of grassroots electronic music DJs from the minds behind Wax Palace and Aurora Sounds. We want to bring people together and create cohesion, in an increasingly online world which can be alienating, committed to curating a lineup which is fully representative of the electronic music community, with Female, NB and LGBTQ+ DJs as headliners, not just support acts.

We are crafting an experience which offers attendees an escape from the alienation of the modern world and fosters a sense of community, dedicated to making the festival a visual feast for our attendees to experience and lose themselves in, through spectacular staging and lighting design and interactive works of art. We will be focusing on creating art pieces aimed at visualising sound and light together as a medium, creating a space where your senses of the world (hearing, sight, touch) are explored in a relationship that wouldn’t usually occur.

Our aims are to curate a safe space for all, an affordable event that focuses on under-represented talent in an environment like no other. We hope to see you all in August!
