Food Therapy: The Missing Piece in Nervous System Regulation with Luis Mojica

Sat 29 Aug 2026 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM Herringham Hall, Regents University, NW1 4NS

In this workshop, Luis Mojica, author of Food Therapy: Conscious Eating to Navigate Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma, will explore our relationship to food and its impact on the nervous system's ability to recover.

He will offer somatic practices, trauma education, and accessible nutrition strategies to help understand cravings, emotional eating cycles, adrenal fatigue, and glucose imbalance — not as failures of willpower, but as intelligent survival adaptations. He will help you expand your lens around nervous system regulation to include food and shifting biochemistry without falling into diet culture, shame, or restrictive frameworks. You will be invited throughout the day to practice somatic exercises, reflect, share, ask questions, and relate to the body in a new way.
