Need help?
What if the thing getting in your way isn't a lack of ability?
You’re capable, experienced and know your job. You work hard and you get things done but even good people can fall into bad habits when under continual pressure.
Have you started to
- Taking control when things feel uncertain.
- Push harder when a different approach might help.
- Avoid a difficult conversation.
- Step in to solve problems that others could solve themselves.
These behaviours often come from good intentions. Yet, under pressure, they can affect our relationships, our decisions and the conditions we create for the people around us.
So, what happens when we pause long enough to notice them?
Join us at Altezza HQ for a free, hands-on introduction to equine-assisted learning.
Working alongside our herd of horses, you’ll explore how you respond to unfamiliar situations, what influences your behaviour and how your actions might be experienced by others.
No riding. No horse experience needed.
Just curiosity and a willingness to look at things a little differently.
Why horses? Horses respond to what is happening around them, including changes in our behaviour, body language, attention and approach. They don't respond to our job titles, experience or the explanations we give ourselves.
Working alongside them provides an opportunity to notice our habitual responses in real time, rather than simply talking about how we think we behave. With expert facilitation, we’ll connect those observations to everyday working life: communication, relationships, trust, accountability and the choices we make under pressure.
What will you take away?
By the end of the session, you will have had the opportunity to:
- Recognise your patterns: Notice how you respond when things don't go to plan or when you don't have all the answers.
- Explore your impact: Consider the conditions your behaviour creates for the people around you.
- Challenge your assumptions: Reflect on the difference between what you intend and what others might experience.
- Identify a practical change: Choose one behaviour or response you want to pay closer attention to in your working life.
- Experience a different approach to development: Discover how experiential learning can make self-awareness tangible and relevant.
Who is this for?
This event is designed for business owners, senior professionals, managers, HR and Learning & Development professionals who are curious about human behaviour and interested in developing themselves or their teams.
You might be successful in your role but recognise that working harder isn't always the answer. You might be responsible for a team and want to understand more about what shapes communication, trust and performance. Or you may simply be curious about what horses can teach us about ourselves.
You don't need to be a horse person, and you don't need to arrive with a particular problem to solve.
What to expect.
Expect an engaging, reflective and occasionally surprising afternoon. You'll work alongside horses in a safe, facilitated environment, take part in practical activities, and have time to reflect on what you notice and how it relates to your everyday experiences.
Participation in individual activities will be guided by the facilitator and the needs of the group.
Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear. The session takes place outdoors, so dress for the weather.
A little about Altezza People UK.
At Altezza People UK, we help organisations develop the human behaviours that influence how people work together. We help individuals and teams explore self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication and behaviour in ways that are practical and memorable.
We believe that meaningful development starts with awareness, but it doesn't stop there. The real value comes when people begin to apply what they learn.
Come curious. Leave with a different perspective.
Places are free but limited, so please book your ticket in advance.
