Amaliah Soul Session / In response to the violence
Amaliah Soul Session / In response to the violence
Need help?
Amaliah is holding a space in response to the violence being experienced by Muslims and People of Colour. Join us in this space, facilitated by Hudda Khaireh, as we process, feel and come together in community.
Soul Sessions have been a way for the Amaliah community to come together and hold a space for us to be. In the past, we have held soul sessions in response to feeling a sense of collective grief or mourning. We have run soul sessions in response to Palestine, New Zealand Attacks, The General Election and in the wake of George Floyd’s murder. These have been led by you, the Amaliah community, as a space for you to speak about how you feel, relate to others and also hear different perspectives. The aim has been to feel seen and to be in a space that centres you as a Muslim woman. We recognise the space is powerful, a space of healing and gives many of you an outlet.
If you would like to come to just be amongst sisterhood or would like to engage and share your thoughts, you are welcome to use the space as you need.
Location: Shoreditch, London (venue details upon booking)
Date: Tuesday 13th August, 2024
Time: Doors open at 5:30PM and we will kick off conversations by 6:30pm
