Join us at Baker Creek Preserve in the heart of Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness for the 15th Annual Fall Festival! Hosted by AMBC and presented by Harper Auto Square.  Kicking things off Saturday morning are some great options to get out in the woods on your bike.  We will have options for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced riders from 10:00-12:00.  New this year, is an afternoon jaunt curated by our friends at Harpers Bike Shop from 12:00-2:30.  This one will truly be an adventure.  If you have any questions, let us know.  Info and links to the routes are listed below.  We look forward to riding with you!

This event is free, but please register by October 30th. This helps us ensure we have enough volunteers and supplies.

We are here to help everyone feel comfortable in the woods. No one gets left behind, and everyone leaves with a big smile. We make sure every rider is comfortable with the group's pace and that no section of trail is beyond the ability level of the group. 

Please bring your helmet, shoes, ride snacks, water, and a way to carry it on your ride! Bring a spare tube if you have one. PLEASE arrive by 9:30 AM for sign-in! Thank you!

• Harpers Bike Shop Urban Wilderness Adventure Ride
  • Join the crew from Harpers on an afternoon Urban Wilderness adventure.  We'll be heading out at high noon, but don't worry, we'll be back in time for the whip off. We'll be hitting all the favorite South Loop trails with maybe some extras sprinkled in for good measure. Ride leaders needed!

We are looking for ride leaders and sweeps to lead our ride groups in a fun and safe manner. If you are a confident rider with a genuine interest in sharing your love of the sport and knowledge of the trails, please select "volunteer" in the ticket option below and be on the lookout for an email. You don't have to be an advanced rider to volunteer; just be confident at the level you choose in the follow-up form.

Riding Levels

Beginner: I'm relatively new to mtb. I like it and want to learn about how to be comfortable on varied terrain with more technical features.

Intermediate: I am a confident rider and can ride my bike on technical terrain. I'm fine with roots and rocks, comfortable on blue trails and ready for new challenge.

Advanced: Able to ride any trail in the Urban Wilderness with ease. Comfortable with drops, jumps and technical features.

Volunteer: I'm a confident rider. I know the trails well, and I'd love to help out as a ride leader or sweep! There will be a separate form for you to list your volunteer preferences. You don't have to be an advanced rider to volunteer; just be confident at the level you choose in the volunteer form.
