With animals, a woodland, an outdoor playground, trails, and plenty of open space, Amelia Trust is perfect for family fun!

The Farm has always been a special place for parents to bring their children, and we often hear that visitors come to see us because they have fond memories of coming with their own parents.... so Grandparent's Day is the perfect excuse to spend a few hours in the fresh air with your family!

As well as animals to see, a woodland to explore, trails to enjoy, and an outdoor playground, you'll find plenty of open space, wildlife to spot, and our pond! During your day, chat to our Animal Care staff in the Animal Centre and find out more about our smaller animals, and what to consider if you're thinking of getting a pet. Pop outside to our outdoor animals, like our donkeys, Shetland pony, pigs and goats. AND go for a Guided Walk in the woods and discover what creatures creep, crawl and fly in the woodland at Amelia Trust!

Head to the Party Room where you will find the Aura Trinity Collective Wool Spinners. You can learn about the craft and even give it a go yourself!

Tickets for Grandparent's Day when bought online:

£6.50

Tickets must be bought for all adults and children over the age of 2. Tickets bought at the gate will be £7 per person. Time slots are a guide only.

• The Green Leaf Café will be open 10am - 4pm.
• Each adult and child aged 2 years and over must have their own ticket
  
• Please do not book and do not travel if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell or suspect that you have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms
  
• All visitors must be offsite by 4.30pm
• Please note: we are not able to give refunds and tickets are non-transferrable. Visits will go ahead in the rain, no refunds or credits will be given if the weather is poor unless we decide it is unsafe to open.
• Dogs are allowed but please keep them on a lead at all times and pick up any mess.
