Meet the Small Animals

Our Meet the Small Animals activity is for children aged 4 years and older.

During this 30 minute activity, children will get the chance to meet and interact with some of our smaller fluffy animals. A member of our Animal Care Team will lead the session and children will be able to hold and stroke some of our small animals. They'll have the chance to ask questions and learn all about these little cute creatures.

Share The Love With The Small Animals is an ideal introduction to animals, especially if you are considering getting a pet. Being with animals is a great way to build confidence and relax.

Please head to the Small Animal Centre for this activity.

Your entry tickets allows you to see the animals, play in the outdoor park, explore the woodland, discover wildlife and stop in the Green Leaf Café for refreshments. Spending time at Amelia Trust Farm is all about having fun in nature and we’d love you to join us!

Due to space restrictions, we ask that only 1 adult per child joins in with the session. Any additional adults can explore the rest of the Farm during the 30 minute session.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult, but adults will not need a ticket for the Meet the Small Animals session but everyone visiting the Farm will need an entrance ticket.

For the safety of our animals and visitors, tickets are very limited and will be booked on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you're quick!

A voluntary donation of 10% on top of the ticket price will help with our work in supporting young people and maintaining the Farm as a countryside sanctuary. If you are a UK taxpayer, when you donate at least 10%, the whole admission ticket purchase is eligible for Gift Aid, meaning we can claim an extra 25% on the entire transaction and you will be contributing more to our work at no additional cost to you. To enable us to claim the gift aid you will need to complete the Gift Aid Declaration check box on the checkout page.

Gift Aid Declaration

By ticking the gift aid box at the checkout you are confirming that you would like us to treat your payment as a Gift Aid donation. You confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and confirm that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax that is at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations (to all charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs) in that tax year. You understand that if you do not pay enough tax, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You acknowledge that these Gift Aided tickets are for yourself or members of your family.
