Does your child have a passion for pictures? Do they love taking photos at every opportunity?

Encourage their creativity by giving them a chance to develop their photography skills in our brand new activity. We are delighted to have Katrina, owner of an established photography club for children, at Amelia Trust this half term.

Children will explore our beautiful woodland, taking photos of wildlife, flora, and fauna in an engaging session designed specifically for children.

What will children do during the session?

The activity will begin with an introduction to the equipment (which will be provided for each child). Katrina will show each child how to use the cameras before explaining what they'll be taking photos of during the session. Children will be split into pairs for the activity, so this is ideal for siblings or friends to do together - or, be matched with someone on the day and make a new friend. Similar to a scavenger hunt, Katrina will set tasks for the children to complete. After the activity, each parent/guardian will be emailed the photos their child took during the session.

The session will last for two hours, and is suitable for children aged between 8 and 12.

You're welcome to drop your children off for the activity and collect them at the end of the session. 

If you'd rather stay near by, Bro Coffi will be onsite selling hot drinks and snacks for parents and guardians to enjoy. Once you've collected your child, you are welcome to stay on site to explore our lovely Care Farm. Walk through the woodland, see the animals, and have fun in the park!

Tickets are very limited and will be booked on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you're quick!

Please note that tickets must be booked in advance on the website. We are not able to give refunds and tickets are non-transferrable.

Please note:

• This activity is suitable for children aged between 8 and 12.
• Bro Coffi will be on site serving hot drinks and snacks as our café is currently closed for refurbishment.
• Please do not book and do not travel if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell or suspect that you have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 symptoms
  
• All visitors must be offsite by 4.30pm
