AHS SLC Parent Education Night: Dinner & Discussion

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and practical parenting tools.

Join fellow parents at the Salt Lake City campus Family Education Center for our next Parent Education Night, a relaxed in-person dinner and discussion built around the best-selling parenting guides How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk and How to Talk So Teens Will Listen & Listen So Teens Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.

What to expect

This won’t be a lecture. The evening is interactive, with role play and real-life scenarios that let you practice the communication principles from the books in a supportive setting. You’ll leave with simple, usable tools for everyday moments, from morning routines to tough conversations.

Parents loved the camaraderie of our last gathering, so we’re bringing everyone back together in person for dinner and discussion.

Before you come

We invite you to read one of the two books in advance, whichever fits your family best:

Busy schedule? Order your copy early so you have plenty of time to read before November 6. Don’t worry if you can’t finish; you’re still welcome to join.
