Amor Artis presents the 2008 winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Music, David Lang’s Little Matchgirl Passion, which draws inspiration from Bach’s passion oratorios to deliver Hans Christian Andersen’s poignant secular tale in heart-rending fashion. We present this masterpiece alongside other works, from the 17th and 21st centuries, that powerfully portray the perspectives of children and their caretakers.
