... Look, I see you...
The world is moving so fast and sometimes it seems that everything is on fire. If you are like me, your mind is probably spinning in a gazillion places, trying to make sense of it all, and forever catching up. Catching up with sleep, with work, with AI and the weather and politics and family and emails and social media, catching up with shifting societal dynamics and just the bloody tsunami that became our life post 2020. Damn, I got tired just writing this and it doesn't even scratch the surface.
I know this all too well and I want to help.
As impossible as it may seem, at the same time as the chaos, right at this very moment, there is also another aspect to reality.
One of harmony, clarity, spaciousness and just complete chill.
It exists, truly, I promise. It lives outside of you, in the chill of that cat that rests in the sun, no fucks given that the neighbours are arguing again, in the laughter of kids somewhere in the world, smashing through puddles. It lives in the bird song at dusk in a remote forest and in the chilled barista who always gets your name wrong.
And, most importantly, that chill lives in YOU. It lives in a part of your brain that always has all the solutions. It lives in the continuous beat of your heart, in the continuous movement of your lungs, and the steady rhythm of your breath. In... and Out...and In... and Out...and In... and Out...
It will never cease to amaze me how well this works! For every problem there is a solution and the solution lives inside of me. And you. And this is not just a thing I read in a book (or heard on a podcast). This is a tried and tested reality. There is only one trick. We cannot access the solution from the same space that obsesses with the problem. The part obsessing with the problem lives in one part of your brain and the part who has the solution lives in another one.
The bridge?
BREATH.
When we take time to breathe and chill, we literally begin to fire different synapses. The ones which create harmony, cooperation of mind and body, and who give us Solutions AND the energy to Implement them.
This is why I created these evening sessions. We come together to breathe and chill. Every Monday at 7PM UK time.
