Maybe you want to attend jams and workshops but don't have regular tying partners?
Perhaps you are simply new and just want an opportunity to meet like minded folks?
Or... you're not new but want to make even more friends!

Then this is the evening for you!

[Note: this event is not a class, and there will be no rope instruction or rope teaching].

Our first event was such a success, we couldn't wait to run it again!

Our mixer is an opportunity for newbies and veterans alike to socialise in the space and forge new connections. The evening is open to all, and will be focused on facilitating new friendships and rope partnerships.

The evening is structured, and will consist of icebreaker games, facilitated conversations, and of course... tying!

Our only rule is: don't come with a partner*, and don't come with pre-arranged tying plans. This evening is for new connections and impromptu rope only.

Food/drinks welcome, especially anything shareable.

ALL welcome: you do not have to tie/get tied to attend this event, you can join simply to socialise. There is no dress code. You don't need rope to attend. Complete newbies welcome as is everyone else.

Structure:

7pm: doors open

[First half - no rope]

7-7:30pm: settling in, get name badges, enjoy a drink/tea/coffee, enjoy the music, get changed, hang out.

7:30-8:30pm: ice-breaker games and guided chats

8:30-8:50pm: break

8:50pm-10pm: rope first ties - a game with rope and blindfolds offering a chance to tie with lots of different people during a super chill and fun guided session (rope and blindfold provided).

10-10:30: wind down, debrief, exchange contacts, hang out

What to expect?

You can expect welcoming hosts, lively upbeat music, a super chill atmosphere with around 40-50 people. You can wear whatever you feel comfy in, most people will come in casual daytime clothes. The rope portion will be accessible to everyone - even complete newbies - and you can sit it out if you just want to watch. But you'll probably want to join it because we make it super light hearted!

Please note that tickets can only be refunded or transferred up to 7 days before the event after which they become non-refundable. If you are unable to attend within 7 days, please join the 'Ticket Exchange' channel on our Discord server.
