Since 2015, Tuesdays have been our general open tying evenings. The session runs from 6:30pm to 10:30pm with an open format—perfect for riggers, rope bottoms, and enthusiasts of all experience levels. Whether you're new to the studio or a seasoned rope practitioner, this event offers a relaxed space for you to practice, connect, and explore freely!

Some attendees come partnered and with tying plans, and others come solo. While we can’t guarantee partners, there’s plenty to enjoy even if you’re not tying with someone. You’re welcome to practice self-ties, explore our budding rope library, or relax in the social area with free tea and coffee. Our communal lounge is also a great spot to meet other attendees, exchange ideas, or simply take a break between sessions.

While there's no formal induction on Tuesdays, our friendly staff and regulars are always happy to answer any questions and help you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is inclusive and respectful, and we encourage everyone to participate in whatever way feels right for them—whether that’s tying, observing, or simply enjoying the space.

Do you have a pre-paid jam card? Simply turn up at the door and show us your card to stamp.

Note: as per usual we can't guarantee you'll find people to do rope / play with, but there's plenty to enjoy in the space anyway :)
