About our annual Showcase

Our Annual Showcase of local, homegrown talent is coming up on December 13th, and we couldn't be more excited to share this special evening with you!

As many of you know, Fred and Anna first stepped into the world of rope performance at a “rope open mic night” back in November 2013. That night sparked a passion, and they’ve been sharing that inspiration with our community ever since. Driven by the idea of “paying it forward,” they launched an annual showcase to give local artists a chance to shine and express themselves through the art of rope.

Now, every year, this event brings together both new and new-ish performers for a night of creativity and community spirit. It’s a relaxed and supportive space for budding performers to get a taste of the stage, and for the audience to enjoy unique and sometimes out of the box shows.

Many of our past performers have gone on to enjoy successful rope journeys as teachers and performers themselves, some have even opened their own spaces! Past performers include: Burgundy Rose and Springtied (international teachers based now in Bristol), Rosa and Pytho (now with their own space in Singapore), Anna Ties Knots (who runs her rope accessories shop and also performers at various venues in London), Avi (who runs regular rope and cacao ceremonies in the UK), and many many many more!

Whether you're here to support friends or simply to enjoy an evening of inspired performances, we invite you to be part of this wonderful tradition. Let’s celebrate our amazing local talent and the powerful connections that brought us all together!

Doors open at 7:30pm
1st performance at 8:00pm
2nd performance at 9:15pm
3rd performance at 10:00
4th performance at 11:00

Please note times for the performances may not be exact.

You are welcome to attend solo or with partners, friends. You are also welcome to BYOB (please drink responsibly). You are allowed to eat/snack in the venue also. The photo policy will be revealed on the evening but we ask that you do not take photos of the play portion of the evening unless you have explicit consent and that it is not intruding on other peoples spaces.

Please note that tickets can only be refunded or transferred up to 7 days before the event after which they become non-refundable. If you are unable to attend within 7 days, please join the 'Ticket Exchange' channel on our Discord server.
