Thursday Shibari Beginners Jam Session

Come solo or with a friend. No rope, no experience needed!

Home to London's largest and most established rope community — running dedicated beginners evenings since 2015. Learn real rope skills from expert instructors, make friends, and become part of a warm community of like-minded humans.

We are a female-owned studio run by a diverse team of 20+ volunteers, rooted in the London kink and rope scene since 2015. We're femme-friendly, queer-friendly, trans-inclusive, kink-positive, body-positive and consent-focused — and we mean it.

🪢  About the Session

This is a hands-on and beginner focused evening that includes a class and social time. The class is taught by a rotating team of skilled and well renowned teachers that are active in the local rope and kink scenes, but also in the international circuit.

• Starting a tie: single and double column ties
• How to place rope on someone and make it feel good
• Coiling, uncoiling and rope handling
• Basic upper and lower body harnesses for play
• Safety and anatomy basics
• Communication and partnership skills

🌱 What to expect

Most weeks you'll share the space with 40+ people — a relaxed mix of first-timers and regulars, in an atmosphere that takes the rope seriously without taking itself too seriously.

• Coming solo? Totally normal — we create opportunities to pair up or work in small groups
• Warm, cosy atmosphere with relaxed lighting
• Shoe-free zone in the main space
• Wear whatever you like — no special outfit required
• Communal rope provided; rope also available to buy on the night

🕓 Schedule

• Doors open: 6:30pm

• Taster class & induction: 7:00–8:30pm

• Open tying & social: 8:30–10:30pm

• Doors close: 10:30pm

🎟️ Refund policy

Tickets can be refunded or transferred up to 7 days before the event for events priced under £20, and up to 14 days before for events over £20. After these periods, tickets become non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend within 7 days, please join our ‘Ticket Exchange’ channel on Discord to offer your spot.
