🎨 What is drawn to rope
Since 2024, every other month we run a life drawing evening called ‘Drawn to Rope’, in collaboration with our artist friend InkyLayla. The event pre-dates Anatomie as we’ve been running it since 2014 in various London venues before finding our permanent home. For this reason this event is a staple of the studio!

📘 What to Expect
The event runs from 7pm to 10pm - we usually open the space at 6:30pm for folks to set-up and settle in. We provide some materials (paper and drawing/painting materials) but you are also invited to bring your own. There is a mix of levels in terms of drawing ability, some novice enthusiasts and also some more expert folks.
The event is split in two halves with a 20 min break in the middle. Every event we welcome different tying pairs and we try to provide variety in terms of rope styles, dynamics, bodies, genders etc. Poses range between 30 seconds and 15 minutes - poses are short due to the nature of rope (it's tough!) - and you'll be able to draw a variety of floor and suspension poses.
The photo policy varies between guests and will be revealed on the day.
🪢 our next guests (JUly)
Unique and tender intimacy exploring the mutual exchange of joy in Shibari and questioning the masculine dynamics of power. Nyx and Lara explore the tension of connection. Dancing with mischievous tenderness, refreshing playfulness, and the suspense of suspension. We invite rope and body to tell stories never heard before.
