Bight Club: One rope, rope jam - with Shibrori!
⚠️ Date change! This event is now taking place on Sunday July 26th from 1-5pm ⚠️
🚨 Bight Club is a "one rope, rope jam" where one rope is more than enough! Based on the concept of Ipponawa (one rope). It's perfect for beginners and veterans looking to explore the limitless avenues of play that 'just' one rope can provide.
This event is hosted by our team member Shibrori who will teach a beginner class on the single column tie during the first hour of the jam.
We are a female-owned studio run by a diverse team of 20+ volunteers, rooted in the London kink and rope scene since 2015. We're femme-friendly, queer-friendly, trans-inclusive, kink-positive, body-positive and consent-focused
👉 Our events deal with adult themes. You must be 18+ to join.
🪢 About the jam
Bight Club is a special edition rope jam where we only play with one rope, hence "one rope, rope jam" — because one rope is more than enough. Based on the concept of Ipponawa (one rope practice), this event strips things back to the essentials and reminds us just how much is possible with a single length of rope: from simple restraints and floor play, to play-fighting, to creative improvisation and connection.
It's the perfect event for beginners who are just finding their feet with rope, and equally rewarding for more experienced players looking to slow down, get creative, and explore the limitless possibilities that one rope can offer. Sometimes constraints are the best inspiration.
The event is hosted by our team member Shibrori, who will kick off the evening with a beginner-friendly class on the single column tie, your most essential foundational tool for rope. After that, the floor opens up for open jam: play, explore, watch, and connect.
👩🏫 About our host
Shibrori is a queer black rigger who enjoys using self-imposed limits to expand options for play and dialogue within rope. He has been part of the Anatomie team since January 2026. He predominantly ties masc folks.
