The Berry Picker Basket

Join us this October for our Berry Picker Basket Workshop, where you will be immersed in the craft of willow basket making. You will get a chance to make your own wooden base berry basket. Along with this, you will make a birdfeeder for our feathery friends, or it can be used as a garlic or onion holder in the kitchen.

Held in the Old Hay Barn on the beautiful grounds of Ballinlough Castle in Westmeath, we will enjoy a full day of willow craft. You will be welcomed with freshly brewed coffee and some delicious pastries in the morning before we begin our weaving. Rest the hands again at lunch time with some lovely home cooking and help yourself to plenty of tea, coffee and snacks during the day as well. Everything is included-materials, tools and food and drink.
