Wisdom, Romance & the Single Years Conference

Anchor Bible Church invites everyone ages high school through 20s to join our 2026 summer conference entitled Wisdom, Romance, And The Single Years.  
 
Preparing for marriage isn’t really about finding the right person; it is more importantly about becoming the right person. Our culture often tells young people to make a list of the qualities they want in a spouse, but far too often it overlooks the deeper question: what kind of spouse do I want to be? Do I need to be? No marriage will be free from difficulties, but we can be sure of this: God designed marriage for our good, and He can shape us so that in marriage we experience profound joy and He receives great glory!

Speaker

Dr. Ernie Baker has the privilege of serving as the Chairman of The Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling department and the online B.A. in Biblical Counseling at The Master's University, where he has served since 2005. He is also the Director of Training for Biblical Counseling Ministries Worldwide. He received his M.Div. from Capital Bible Seminary, and his D. Min. in Pastoral Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.  Dr. Baker has been in pastoral ministry since 1980 and is also a Fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. 
Along with enjoying relationship with the Lord and his family, Dr. Baker enjoys gardening, hunting and studying the American Civil War.
