When the clocks go back and the nights get even darker....join &Piano on Sunday 26th October at St John's Church, Golcar, when Autumn is well and truly underway, for a sublime and atmospheric recital of songs that celebrate the season - falling leaves, dark and stormy nights, Halloween & All Souls Eve!
From Britten to Gurney, Mendelssohn to Strauss, Rachmaninoff to Wolf, spooky images, stories, themes and significant days have been a vivid source of inspiration for many composers. And we're delighted to welcome rising star Phoebe Smith (who sang for our &Piano School Recital Tour last year), originally from Hebden Bridge, accompanied by Artistic Director Christopher Pulleyn.
