Composition Workshop with Imogen Davey

In anticipation of the eveningʼs premiere performance of our festival commission, flautist & composer Imogen Davey leads a workshop that anyone can take part in, exploring how to compose and create music, exploring improvisation and sound-art. It will give a little insight into the composition process - all the different ways that you can create music, and all the different things to consider.

Anyone can take part, whether you consider yourself a musician, singer or none of the above! Some of our music exploration will be using voice to make sounds, but if you play an instrument - then we'd encourage you to bring it along! Suitable for ages 12+ (we advise that under 18s taking part should be joined by an adult).

This workshop is great for budding composers, keen culture-lovers and curious inbetweeners!
