'Our Love Is Here to Stay' with Vivify Ensemble

As part of our October Weekend events, &Piano are delighted to welcome our first vocal group to the festival, Vivify Ensemble.

Vivify are an accomplished five-piece vocal ensemble based in Leeds, dedicated to bringing the beauty and drama of choral music to life for contemporary audiences. From creative and engaging performances of music from as far back as the 16th Century to the present day, they reveal the stories and heritage behind the music, creating captivating performances that resonate with audiences today.

Join us for a lovely evening in the fantastic mill-space of the North of England Centre for Music & Arts, exploring the trials of tribulations of love and relationships through music, in a programme that will guide you through Italian and English madrigals by Claudio Monteverdi and Thomas Weelkes, to some turn of the century jazz standards by Cole Porter & George Gershwin!
