After the success of &Piano's first Family event - we're delighted to announce another Family&Piano event as part of our festival - this time, join us on Saturday 7th May at 11am for a short 40 minute concert that will use music to take us on a journey into outer space. 

Joining us will be Stephan Laidlaw playing a cello - a very big looking violin that makes a lovely rich sound, and soprano Charlotte Trepess will help sing us up to the stars and back!

This event is suitable for toddlers and small children up to the age of about 7/8 years old. 

Lift access is available for prams & wheelchairs.

All children must be accompanied by at least one adult per group, and all adults attending must be accompanied by at least one child per group!

Slaithwaite is a beautiful village in Huddersfield, that sits along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. It has a train station with trains that come direct from Leeds and Manchester. It is also a convenient location from the M62, coming off at either J23 (coming from Manchester), or J24. There is plenty of free parking around The Civic, and also many excellent café's, restaurants and bars for food or drink before or after.
