From 1–25 December 2026, a new filmed fairytale or folktale, told by Angela Halvorsen Bogo, arrives in your inbox each day.

Most stories are around 10–15 minutes, with a few longer tales to settle into when you have more time.

And there’s no need to keep up. Every story remains available until 1 March 2027, so you can listen when it suits you, catch up later, and return to the stories you particularly love.

The stories are drawn from fairytales, folklore and oral storytelling traditions from around the world. They are not religious stories — Winter Fairytales is a celebration of story, imagination and winter for people of all backgrounds and traditions.

The collection is created for adults and families with children aged 5+.
