Join Angie in the Mountains for a guided two-night backpacking adventure deep in the Appalachian high country.
This trip takes us into a remote area of Wild Wonderful West Virginia featuring prestine creeks, hidden waterfalls, high elevation forests, and peaceful backcountry campsites.
We’ll spend three days hiking through beautiful mountain terrain, learning backcountry skills, and enjoying the simplicity of life outdoors.
Evenings will be spent relaxing at camp, laughing, games, and listening to the sounds of the forest.
This trip is designed for beginners who want to experience their first backpacking adventure with guidance as well as outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore a beautiful and lesser-known mountain landscape.
Exact trail location will be shared with registered participants before the trip.

Participants should:
• Be comfortable hiking 5–7 miles per day
• Carry a backpack weighing 25–35 lbs
• Be prepared for uneven terrain and elevation changes
This trip is beginner-intermediate but requires a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Some Backpacking experience required.
