Animal Behaviour – After School

Why do animals do what they do? In this block we explore animal behaviour through observation, specimens, video and meeting our animals, with animal welfare at the heart of every session.
Topics we may explore include:
- Which animals are the most intelligent, and how do scientists find out?
- How do animals learn?
- Animals that use tools
- Why do animals play?
- How can we tell what an animal is feeling?
Sessions are adapted to suit each group.
Price: full block, paid when booking, with no extra booking fees. Single sessions at £15 may be available through our booking form if spaces remain.
We encourage children to attend on their own where possible. You're welcome to drop off and collect, or watch through the indoor window. If your child needs you with them, please keep it to one adult per child in the room, as space is limited.
