On Saturday September 26th we will be celebrating and fundraising for our dear friend paula helen, who is emerging out of a year of cancer treatment and recovery. This is pretty amazing, and harrowing! From diagnosis to chemo treatment to getting the best possible news on the other side (no new growth, all lymph nodes reading normal!), paula has continued to show us what is possible in the face of massive change and vulnerability. Many of you have been a part of this journey, both from afar and very near, offering rides to appointments, providing meals, funds, encouragement, and kindness.

This one-of-a-kind gathering is our way of marking the occasion together and sending paula into the next phase with more abundance and support <3

The theme for this celebration is “Transformation” and we will be launching paula’s Go Fund Me (or some similar fundraising account) as well as selling sliding scale tickets to an evening of performances, food, and play. Depending on resources and community availability, we may also have a silent auction, a selfie booth, a group audio recording project, and let’s be honest who knows what else this epically creative crew might come up with.

Time flow:

• 4pm doors open, people arriving, mingling
• 5-5:45pm Act 1 performances
• 5:45-6pm intermission
• 6-6:45pm Act 2 performances
• 6:45 onwards- enjoy food, afterparty, karaoke?, maybe raffle/silent auction, mystery

This is a fundraising event, so all donations collected will go directly to paula. The event itself is NOTAFLOF, so please join us regardless of what you can offer in the form of donations. 

Suggested sliding scale donation for the event is $35-$15.

Limited tickets will be available for the in-person event. Tickets for joining via the livestream on zoom will be abundant!

General access info for this event space:

• This is an alcohol-free event. Please respect this boundary. We are 420-friendly outside (as long as no one around you objects, please ask).
• The Very House of Lenore Evermore has a wheelchair accessible ramp for entry to the front door. Folks may also be hanging on the back patio which can be entered step-free through a gate off the driveway. Bring a towel if you want to use the outdoor bathtub.
• There is one bathroom with a narrow entrance. Fred Meyer is a few blocks away if you need to pick up food or are desperate for a bathroom.
• Performances will happen the Dream Studio, which is in a basement with steep stairs. Performances may be presented over livestream on a TV upstairs.
• Street parking is available, though you will likely need to spread out a bit.
