Soap-Making for Christmas

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make soap from scratch? Wait no longer! In this workshop I will teach you how to make your own plant-based, eco-friendly, cold process soap from scratch.

You can choose which direction you want to take your soap as far as your fragrance, botanicals and colours go. Would you like invigorating lemongrass and rosemary? Or do you prefer comforting cinnamon? Or are you a fan of calming lavender? The choice is all yours. I will have an abundance of essentials oils and botanicals available for you to choose from.

You will be making a large 1kg block of your own handmade, plant-based soap, which we will then cut into 16 bars that you can either use yourself throughout the year or give away to friends and family as a handmade Christmas present.

My soap recipe is officially certified by a chemical lab by sending in a Cosmetic Product Safety Report, so you can rest assured that the soap we are making is safe to use. You will also test the pH level of your soap as part of the course, so you know your soap is nothing less than nourishing for your skin.

Please note that the soap bars we make will need to cure for 4 weeks before they can be used, which is why my Christmas gift soap making classes take place in mid-November.
