LONDON | Ancestral Sound with Anthar Kharana - The Wisdom of the Sacred Snake
The Wisdom of the Sacred Snake
How to Transmute Your Inner Fire
Join Colombian ceremonial musician, composer and retreat leader Anthar Kharana for a special evening of ancestral sound, medicine music, live songs, voice, rhythm and ancient teachings.
This gathering is part of the Ancestral Sound Tour 2026, a journey of events exploring sound, ceremony and the wisdom of reciprocity.
The snake carries the wisdom of transformation.
It reminds us that there are moments in life when an old skin no longer fits. Stories, identities, habits and emotional patterns that once protected us may eventually begin to limit us.
But shedding the past is not always simple.
We cannot force ourselves to forget what has happened, nor can we simply leave behind the experiences that have shaped us. True transformation asks us to meet the past honestly, receive its teachings and allow those teachings to become part of something new.
This is where our inner fire becomes important.
The fire within us is not only anger, intensity or force. It is also inspiration, creativity, courage and the impulse to bring something new into being.
During this gathering, we will explore how the wisdom of the sacred snake can help us move through change without denying where we have come from. We will reflect on what is ready to be released, what still needs to be understood and how the energy held inside old stories can be transformed into movement, creativity and renewed purpose.
The evening will move between storytelling, live music, participatory voice and rhythm, moments of reflection and an immersive ancestral sound journey.
Rather than trying to erase the past, we will explore how to honour what has been lived, gather its learning and use our inner fire to begin creating a new story.
The evening will include
Ancestral sound and immersive sound journeying
Live medicine music and original songs
Voice and simple participatory singing
Rhythm and grounding practices
Ancient stories and teachings connected with the sacred snake
Reflections on change, creativity and personal transformation
Practices for reconnecting with inner fire
Time for personal reflection and integration
No previous experience with sound work, singing or ceremonial practice is needed.
You are welcome to participate through your voice, through quiet reflection or simply by listening.
