Stolen Lives London Talks 2026
Join us at Burgh House in Hampstead for the Stolen Lives London Talks hosted by Antidepressant Risks. Held on Prescribed Harm Day (29 July), this event brings together leading voices working to raise awareness of prescribed psychiatric harm and the importance of informed consent.
Confirmed speakers include child psychiatrist Dr Sami Timimi, clinical psychologist Lucy Johnstone, psychologist and author Anders Sørensen, psychiatrist and academic Joanna Moncrieff (tbc), Martin Kingston, Catherine Heseltine and a pre-recorded interview with Dr Simon Opher MP, Chair of Beyond Pills All-Party Parliamentary Group. Together, they will explore the growing conversation around psychiatric diagnosis, medication risks, and the need for greater transparency in mental health care.
Following the talks, attendees are warmly invited to continue the day at the annual Stolen Lives Picnic on nearby Hampstead Heath, now in its third year. The picnic offers a chance for families, campaigners and supporters affected by prescription harm to gather in remembrance, connection and solidarity.
You are welcome to attend either part of the day, or join us for both. There are separate tickets for the Stolen Lives London Talks and Stolen Lives Picnic, so remember to get your ticket for the picnic if you're planning to come.
The talks will also be live-streamed so members of the community around the world can take part.
Places for the talks are limited to 60 people because of the size of the venue.
Note About Tickets
Antidepressant Risks is a small not-for-profit and this event is entirely community-funded. Ticket income helps cover the costs of the venue, filming and live streaming so people around the world can take part.
To keep the event accessible to everyone in the community we offer several ticket options. If you are able to choose a Supporter or Super-Supporter ticket, it helps make the day possible.
