Join Antidepressant Risks for a special one-hour conversation between founder Katinka Blackford Newman and award-winning journalist and author Robert Whitaker.

Katinka will be sitting down with Robert to discuss his work, research and writing on psychiatry, psychiatric drugs and the pharmaceutical industry. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to take part in the conversation and ask Robert questions directly.

About Robert Whitaker

Robert Whitaker is an award-winning American journalist and author known for his investigative reporting on modern psychiatry and the pharmaceutical industry.

In 1998, he co-wrote a series on psychiatric research for The Boston Globe, which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. His first book, Mad in America, was named by Discover magazine as one of the best science books of 2002.

His book Anatomy of an Epidemic won the 2010 Investigative Reporters and Editors book award for Best Investigative Journalism.

Robert is also the publisher of Mad in America and a Clinical Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.
