Anti Racist Cumbria aims to create the UK’s first actively anti-racist county. We have a plan of how to achieve it and proof that our steps so far are already working.

Anti Racist Cumbria began life in 2020 as a voluntary organisation, today we are a registered charity, employing a growing team of anti-racist professionals who help shape and deliver our work with organisations, educators, leaders and communities.

Anti Racist Cumbria has already created huge waves and made a difference, it works strategically with those in power to become anti-racist, supports communities at a grassroots level to do the same whilst uplifting the voices of Cumbria’s Black, Brown and minoritised communities too.

Our Mission is tackling and ending racism in Cumbria through action and education to create a forward-thinking and actively anti-racist Cumbria, free from prejudice and systemic inequalities.
