Becka Wolfe and Stuart Graham have been playing together since they first met in Nablus, Palestine in 2011. From running ceilidh projects in the West Bank to playing sessions in half-built Samaritan pubs and gallivanting around the world on boats, bikes and on donkeys, they play together on any occasion they can.

Becka is a musician and librarian based in Athens who performs a variety of different traditional genres, including music from Scotland, Ireland, England, Greece and the Arabic-speaking world, whilst Stuart is a Yorkshire musician who plays with many different groups including the Wanton String Band and Garefowl.

Expect rollicking trad tunes from Ireland, Scotland, England and the Appalachians, with a few interventions of tunes from further afield!

This event is a fundraiser for ECHO Mobile Library, which is a multilingual lending library on wheels, running weekly sessions at 6 refugee camps and 2 other spaces on the Greek mainland around Athens. ECHO has existed for 10 years as a small and adaptable project working in solidarity with communities forced to live in isolated and underserved refugee camps in Greece.
