Jane Robinson is the acclaimed author of thirteen books, a public speaker and an engaging and original historian who specialises in social history through women’s eyes. Join us for an intimate evening at It Takes A Village to hear Anya and Jane discuss her eighth book – ‘A Force to be Reckoned With’, an affectionate exploration of the remarkable history of the WI, described as ‘lively,’ ‘informative’ and ‘consistently entertaining.’

As well as exploring her wealth of knowledge, Jane will share exclusive vintage photos at what promises to be a fascinating and entertaining evening.

The Talk

All tickets must be pre-booked and pre-paid.

Ticket price is for one adult

The talk lasts 60mins

Arrival Time

We ask guests to arrive on time for the talk in order to have the best experience. As a courtesy to all our guests we will adhere to a prompt schedule and late arrivals may not be honoured.

Lateness Policy

If you are going to be late, please call us on 020 4529 0929. We will allow access at a suitable time.

No Shows

Unfortunately, if you miss the event, we are unable to rearrange it and no refund will be given.

Cancellation Policy

We have a strict 72 hours cancellation policy to accommodate the high demand for our events.

If you need to cancel, please contact us at assistant@anyahindmarch.com or +44 (0)20 7501 0168 (Monday-Friday, 10am-5.30pm). For the avoidance of doubt, failure to notify us within 72 hours of the event will result in the loss of the appointment and a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds will be given to bookings cancelled or rescheduled less than 72 hours before they begin.

If you find out you cannot attend within 72 hours of the start of the event, then we are happy for you to pass your ticket on to a friend to fill your space but unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange the date of the event.

Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to maintaining the privacy of any personal information that we collect from you. We do not share any of your personal information with any third-party organisations and we abide by all the principles of UK data protection legislation.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions as and when we consider it necessary to do so. Reasonable notice will be given for this.​
