Wednesday Rope Jam

Join us for the weekly Rope Jam, a relaxed and informal gathering where practitioners gather to practice and explore the art of Japanese rope. These sessions are designed to foster creativity and connection in a supportive environment. Whether you're looking to refine your techniques or simply enjoy the communal atmosphere, our Rope Jam is the perfect opportunity to experience London’s newest rope space. Our studio will be open for free practice, with tickets limited to 16, so everyone has space to tie.

Although not mandatory, we usually use the first 30-45 min of the event to chat as a group. This gives guests a chance to meet and declutter their brains of the day's complexities and gives the events a communal atmosphere.

We encourage all participants to bring their own ropes, but a limited supply will be available for those who need them. Safety is our top priority, and we ask all attendees to respect personal boundaries and communicate openly with their partners.

Aphilia Studio is an Intimate and cosy space focusing on the practice of Japanese Rope located in east London. It has been crafted to facilitate deep emotional exchanges and physical dialogue, providing an environment where the body-centric practice of Shibari can flourish.

Note: The studio is Located in Cable Street Studios. Ticket Holders will be given a contact phone number to gain entry into the studio complex. Tickets can be transferred or refunded up to 7 days prior to the event, after which they become non-refundable.
