Beginners Rope Class
Introduction
This 2.5 hour introductory class is designed to get you started on your rope journey. We will start with the absolute fundamentals, focusing on the foundational ties, body movement basics and rope handling efficiency. The Workshop's content is adapted to the attendees' interests and is tailored to work for any body type. The class will cover the slow and contemplative head space, which allows for juicy emotional intimacy.
We believe rope is best appreciated in a calm, quiet and intimate environment, so tickets are limited to just 6 couples.
Rope play uses aspects of Somatic Bodywork, Breathwork and Movement to access and engage with the body's non-verbal Language. It allows for the safe exploration of sensuality, physicality, power and constriction; it can be cathartic and intense or flirty and playful. Physical dialogue, creativity, and improvisation are at the core of the Workshop. Participants are encouraged to investigate their somatic responses to tying and learn to communicate emotions through movement rather than words.

About Your Teacher
Conor is a full-time rope practitioner, creator, and educator based in London. Throughout his career, he has worked with 100s of clients, many of which are new to the practice. His professional experience informed his style and led him to develop an intentional and body-centric that is beginner-focused and accessible.
Details
NOTE: Rope will be provided for the workshop and is also available to buy at the studio. Please wear clothes you feel comfortable in. Jeans and tight clothing may restrict movement. The studio is located at Cable Street Studios. Ticket Holders will be given a contact phone number to gain entry into the studio complex. Tickets can be transferred or refunded up to 7 days prior to the event, after which they become non-refundable.
