The Center for Neighborhood Technology is hosting two hands-on workshops giving participants direct access to tools that put community-level data where it belongs — in the hands of the people doing the work.
Session 1: Housing Costs & Flood Risk (11:00 AM–12:30 PM) Explore the H+T Index, which measures the true cost of housing by factoring in transportation — and the Urban Flooding Baseline Tool, which maps stormwater flood risk using community input and public data.
Session 2: Transit Access & Environmental Justice (2:00–3:30 PM) Explore AllTransit, which scores every neighborhood in the country on transit access and connectivity — and the Truck Counting Tool, which documents heavy truck traffic as an environmental justice issue using community-collected data.
Both sessions are 90 minutes and led by CNT staff. No technical background required — bring your curiosity and your zip code. Register for the session that fits your interest and schedule.
