APPLEDORE PRIDE CEILIDH

To help kick off the first Appledore Pride Parade and Festival on June 6th, 2026, the Appledore Ceilidh Band will be hosting a celebration fundraiser filled with music, community, and pride. We will also be raffling off some prizes throughout the evening! Raffle tickets available on the night.

The band will lead you step-by-step through a fun and frenetic evening of family-friendly dancing and frivolity. The caller, Sophie Randles-Dunkley, is a popular local musician who has organised many a ceilidh. A talented celtic band will be providing the jigs and reels. All are welcome, LGBTQ+

No experience or innate dancing ability is required. The evening is guaranteed to be a hoot. For the ceilidh virgins amongst us, a ceilidh involves the caller explaining a sequence of dance moves to a group of people who then dance along to the live music.
