The course introduces the key tools of Appreciative Inquiry, its underpinning philosophy, the framework for applying it and the value of working from strengths and assets. Drawing on new learning/research in Positive Psychology and Heart Intelligence, it strengthens wellbeing and relationships. This approach is widely used in team building, organisational development, coaching and community development.
Who's it for?
Are you passionate about getting the best out of yourself and others? Ready and willing to think differently and pose new questions? If so, you'll enjoy this introduction to Appreciative Inquiry. It's used widely across the NHS, in businesses large and small, community groups and in education.
This course is part of a certificated programme and includes two free resources, Taste of AI and Reflections. Participants will be eligible to continue with module two online.
Our time together will be experiential, interactive and fun-reflective and deeply practical. We will learn how to lift people’s mood, build connections and creatively imagine a better future.
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes." ~ Marcel Proust
Why come along?
Instead of focusing on problems or what is wrong, Appreciative Inquiry asks you what is working, to amplify successes and focus your 'appreciative lens', supporting change, resilience and creativity. The course draws on new learning/research in positive psychology, and includes appreciative approaches to supervision. The module starts with a welcome dinner on the first evening, to build and grow your supportive appreciative inquiry network.

This is an opportunity to attend one of our courses and learn about our UK case studies.
