Come and join the BHS team for a day of talks, discussions, and Q&A's as we look at some the current topics within the equine industry. These days are welcome to all proprietors or senior level staff of Equestrian Businesses. There is a 50% discount on ticket price for Proprietors and Senior Staff from BHS Approved Centres.

On the agenda this year we have:

9.45am - Arrival, refreshments, and introduction

10:30am - The BHS Education team discuss current qualification pathways, direct entry, funding and training.

11.30am -  Improving rider fitness - Lauren Semple from Equestrian Fitness Scotland will share thoughts and exercises for improvement of rider fitness and horse health

12:15pm - How safe is your centre - Rural Crime Officer Lauren Semple will talk us through some easy wins and also update on some of the latest equipment available.

12.30pm - Jen Morris BHSI, BHS Training Committee Chairperson and Scotland Rep for FEI, giving updates and joining us for lunch and discussion sessions.

12:45 - Lunch and opportunity to network

1:45pm - The BHS Welfare team talk: Enriching your horses management, managing rider weight limits, having difficult conversations and the social licence.

2.30pm - Afternoon Discussion Session to include the BHS DEI strategy and Everyone Welcome initiative, Staff development and diversifying revenue.

3:15pm - Final Questions and Finish
