Our in-person workshops return this autumn—refreshed and shaped directly by your feedback.  This year our BHS Business Support Team will be joined by Sarah Simpson BHSI and BE Accredited Trainer and Proprietor and Coach Lesley Perry, who will be talking about her new book!!

With rising costs and tighter margins across the sector, profitability is no longer something to review annually—it’s something to actively engineer. This year’s program begins with a focused morning session on exactly that: the key drivers behind a resilient, successful equestrian business, and where profit is often being lost without realisation.

In the afternoon, we turn to innovation—looking at how Centres are expanding their offer and unlocking new income streams to strengthen long-term performance without overloading teams or compromising welfare.

10:30am – Session 2: Profitability –What's stopping your profit margin increasing?
Explore the core areas that impact profitability, helping you pinpoint challenges and opportunities within your business.

11:15am – Session 3: Profitability – How can we save money without compromising welfare and customer experience?
An interactive session focused on improving that profit margin. We’ll cover pricing strategies, cost management, revenue growth opportunities, and common pitfalls, giving you practical tools to take action.

12:15pm – Networking Lunch

1:30pm – Session 4:  Sarah Simpson BHSI and British Eventing Accredited Trainer will be leading this session around Innovation, which includes Open Q&A.  She will be sharing insights into varying business models and how adaptions can be made to meet the needs of the changing climate.
