World Horse Welfare - The Journey from Intake to Re-homing

‘Second Chances’

Belwade Farm are holding a Farm Tour and Discussion afternoon aimed at Proprietors and staff of BHS Approved Centres who are interested in rehoming through the Second Chance Scheme and also Accredited Professional Coaches who are involved with Rehabilitation and Retraining of horses.

This event has 4 CPD points allocated.

• Pre-event – there is an onsite café where lunch or refreshments can be purchased, open from 11am,
• 2 - 4pm - In-depth Farm Tour and Demonstrations. this will be led by senior team members who will explain the assessments, treatments and training undertaken throughout the rehabilitation journey, to bring horses to the World Horse Welfare rehoming standard. This will include demonstrations of horses care management and some of the training techniques utilized.
• 4pm Discussion hour:  This will include information from one of our Field Officers and feedback from a BHS Centre Owner who has rehomed a number of horses through the Second Chance scheme. Questions and further discussion will be welcomed during this session. 
• Refreshments will be available for attendees in the Conference Room during this session.
