Celebrate the return of light, as we slow down and savour the season, on the longest night of the year.
A moment to pause amidst the bustle of the festive period, to redirect your energy inwards, and to invite the wisdom of winter.
Letting the spirit of the Solstice guide you towards release and presence. To breathe deeply and reconnect with yourself and what truly matters.
A candlelit evening of restorative yoga practice and a seasonal supper. A night to be savoured.
THE SCHEDULE
Upon arrival, enjoy a soft landing with herbal tea and time to settle into the space.
We begin with a grounding slow flow, to warm the body and connect with our breath.
Followed by a warming Chai or Cacao to accompany journaling and to set intentions for the season ahead.
Next, we have our Yin practice to go deeper within our bodies, and invite stillness.
Finished with yoga Nidra meditation to invoke deep rest.
Ending the evening by enjoying a shared supper of seasonal soup to nourish and replenish.
THE YOGA
SLOW FLOW
A 60 minute slow vinyasa flow practice, honouring the pace of the season of rest.
We'll move through a gently flowing sequence, syncing our breath to movement, and connecting with our own source of warmth and light within.
YIN FLOW
A 45 minute Yin practice to go deeper into the layers of the body, releasing tension and surrendering towards stillness. Gently transitioning between supported postures, for longer and restorative holds.
YOGA NIDRA
A 30 minute guided meditation, to invoke a yogic sleep state , for deep rest of the body and mind. You'll rise as if from hibernation, feeling regulated and completely restored.
THE SUPPER
After our yoga practice we'll gather around a long festive table, to enjoy a bowl of warming soup, a deeply comforting meal prepared with the grounding energy of root vegetables. Lightly spiced with immune boosting ginger, to support winter wellness.
This plant-based supper, will nourish us with the nutrient rich bounty of the Earths harvest, inviting us to savour the produce of the season.
