Led by Ricelli Laplace (they/them), the 'Future(s) Beyond the Binary' workshop invites participants to delve into a transformative exploration of diverse mediums and collages, as we co-create and co-imagine cities of the future that challenge societal and spatial binaries. Drawing from the rich perspectives of Indigenous Queer Futurism, we will embark on a journey of radical sustainability and collective storytelling, fostering a space for meaningful conversation and critical reflection on the present-day dichotomies that permeate our lives. By transcending these limitations, we will work together to develop innovative and inclusive visions of urban spaces, where a harmonious blend of traditions, cultures, and identities coalesce to form a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable world for generations to come.
