In interior design, blending high-end pieces with more affordable finds creates spaces that are both luxurious and livable. In this talk, we’ll explore examples and philosophies of high-low design – mixing styles, textures and price points to craft interiors that are unique, dynamic and accessible.

SPEAKERS

Brahman Perera approaches interior design as a pursuit in experiential beauty, composing natural textures, rich colour pairings and sculptural gestures to produce compelling interiors layered with personal touches. Empathic by nature, he connects with his clients’ identities and harnesses design as an act of storytelling.

Jade Nottage is a director of Tom Mark Henry. Influenced by her passion for painting, she draws inspiration from colour, proportions and strong narratives, leaning bold in concept and materiality. Jade values human connection, always seeking to ensure that Tom Mark Henry’s work makes a lasting impression on all who experience it.

Chloe Middleton is co-director of Alcorn Middleton. The practice's work reflects a commitment to creative dexterity as a means of enriching the everyday. Alcorn Middleton prides itself on listening intently to clients – designing not only in response to what is spoken, but also to what is felt, observed, and intuitively understood.
