Loose fit, long life: Adaptable spaces designed to last

In a world of constant change, interiors that can flex and endure are more valuable than ever. In this talk, we’ll explore how designing for change, comfort and reuse can extend the lifespan of interiors, reduce waste and create spaces that remain relevant as needs evolve. 

SPEAKERS

Mark Brook is the principal architect of MyMyMy Architecture, an architecture and interior design studio in Canberra known for seriously fun projects that look beyond the ordinary. MyMyMy works across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors, and has been recognised across numerous national awards programs.

Prue Pascoe is an interior designer and senior associate at Hassell. Experienced across diverse project scales and typologies, Prue collaborates closely with clients, consultants and teams to deliver sustainable, purposeful outcomes shaped by strong design vision, material sensitivity and a deep understanding of end users.

Will Fung grew up in Canberra and worked in the Netherlands before returning to Sydney to practice. He has been academically involved at UNSW, USYD and UTS, and has been on the jury for the Australian Interior Design Awards, Houses Awards and more. He founded CO-AP in 2005, which he co-directed with Tina Engelen until 2025.
